3-Day Itinerary for Diani Beach: Coastal Bliss and Adventure

Day 1: Arrival and Coastal Charm

• Morning: On arrival in Diani, you will be met by our guide and driver who will drive you to your beachfront accommodation where you will get to settle and relax into the new surroundings over a cold drink.

• Afternoon: After lunch, you can dive straight into relaxation at Diani Beach. Swim, sunbathe, or stroll along the powdery white sands while enjoying breathtaking ocean views.

• Evening: Enjoy the dinner prepared by the chefs as you go to sleep in anticipation of tomorrow's activities!

Pro Tip: Keep your camera ready—the sunsets here are Instagram gold!

Day 2: Marine Adventure

• Morning: You will be picked up in a private vehicle and depart for some snorkeling or scuba diving at Wasini Island or within the Diani Marine Reserve. Swim alongside vibrant coral reefs, exotic fish, and possibly dolphins.

• Afternoon: After lunch, you will be taken on a sun set dhow cruise while exploring the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, known for its stunning marine biodiversity. You will get to feast on a Swahili seafood lunch on Wasini Island.

• Evening: Return to Diani for a visit to the Colobus Conservation Center, where you can learn about efforts to protect the rare Colobus monkey. We will wrap up the day with dinner 

Adventure Highlight: Try kite surfing or paddle-boarding if you’re up for some adrenaline-fueled fun!

Day 3: Safari and Local Flavors

• Morning: At 7 am, your driver and guide will be on hand to take you on a half-day safari to Shimba Hills National Reserve, just an hour from Diani to spot the elephants, antelopes, and lush landscapes. Led by our guide, you will be led to the Sheldrick Falls, a refreshing hidden gem.

• Afternoon: Lunch will be taken at Shimba Hills and in the evening you will be driven to Kongo Mosque where you will be taken on a tour of this mosque (believed to have been built in the 14th century, said to be the oldest mosque in all of East Africa) afterwards you will be taken on a beautiful and peaceful sunset dhow ride on Kongo river before heading back to shore.

• Evening: Enjoy a final feast at the hotel while soaking in the moonlit ocean views.
