TRIP FEATURES

- Visiting the world famous endangered Rothschild Giraffes at The Giraffe Center and the Karen Blixen museum (Karen Blixen is the Author of the widely acclaimed book "OUT OF AFRICA" of which she wrote as a memoir of the seventeen years that she lived in Kenya) where we will get to see her former home (now a museum).

- Excursions to the nearby Village Market Mall to enjoy different activities and facilities ranging from a wide array of restaurants, bachata dancing, Olympic-sized trampoline, bowling, virtual reality games amongst many other activities that make this this the perfect location for a youthful crowd.

- Game drives out in the MASAI MARA to watch the predators up close..

- Horse rides at the nearby KARURA FOREST and there is also the option of walking on foot around the Forest.

ITINERARY

​

Day 1 - You will be picked up by our tour leader from JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT and transferred to the TRADEMARK HOTEL NAIROBI. On this day you will get to relax and enjoy the new surroundings  and also get to enjoy the hotel's facilities and amenities.

Day 2 - At 10 am you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the nearby Giraffe center to have an intimate interaction with the endangered Rothschild giraffes and then have a lunch break at CULTIVA before embarking on an afternoon visit to The Karen Blixen Museum and afterwards you will be ferried back to the hotel to prepare for the next day's trip to the MARA.

Day 3 - 7am pick-up from the hotel after breakfast and depart for the Maasai Mara in our specially built Safari vehicle with everyone guaranteed a window seat. After arrival, our guests will get to refresh and have lunch and have a small game drive in the afternoon right before enjoying a sundowner back at camp

Day 4 - 9am departure from camp after breakfast to a Maasai village for a Cultural immersion visit to see how this storied tribe has held on to their millenia old traditions and beliefs all the way into the 21st century.Led by our guides, you will get to enjoy a comprehensive game drive to see the big cats of the Mara.

​

Day 5 - Early morning departure from camp for a morning game drive then our guests will have lunch out in the bush before retuning in the afternoon to refresh and have a dip at the pool at the lodge. A balloon ride can be booked at extra cost on this day.

Day 6 - We will depart camp at 8 am after breakfast for a road trip back to Nairobi and check in at the Trademark Hotel 

​

Day 7 - Pick-up from the hotel at 8am after breakfast and head to the KENYA NATIONAL MUSEUM for a tour and to learn a bit of Kenya's history followed by lunch in Westlands then you will be ferried back to the hotel to enjoy the hotel's facilities and to also pack for the following day's trip back home.

Day 8 - Pick up from the hotel for a short drive to JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT for the onwards trip back home.
