ITINERARY

 

 

Day 1 - Our guests will be picked up by our tour leader from JKIA for THE TRIBE HOTEL, NAIROBI. On this day our guests will get to relax and enjoy the hotel's facilities and amenities as well as to stroll the nearby VILLAGE MARKET MALL to experience a bit of everyday Kenyan life.

 

Day 2 - Our guests will be picked up from the hotel at 10am and transferred to the Giraffe Center to have an intimate interaction with the endangered Rothschild Giraffes and then have a lunch break at a nearby local restaurant of which afterwards they will be transferred to the nearby KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM to see what life in Kenya felt like in the 20th century for KAREN BLIXEN, the famous author of the widely acclaimed "OUT OF AFRICA" then afterwards our guests will be led back to the hotel to prepare for the next day's road trip down to the Maasai Mara.

Day 3 - Morning pick up from THE TRIBE HOTEL at 7am (after breakfast) for a road trip in our specially designed Safari landcruiser and arrive at The MARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE whereby our guests will proceed to refresh in their respective enclaves then have lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying a slow paced Safari in the Mara.

Day 4 - Early morning pick up (5 am) from camp (no alarm snoozes on this day) for a balloon ride over the Maasai Mara( optional for the interested traveller) followed by a bush breakfast then have a comprehensive game drive to track the big cats of the Mara.

​

Day 5 - Morning visit to a Maasai village for a cultural immersion experience to see how this storied tribe has stuck to their millenia old traditions and culture all the way into the age of space exploration and iphones.

​

Day 6 - Morning departure from the MARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE in our Land cruisers back to Nairobi where we will check in at THE TRIBE HOTEL just in time for lunch. You will get to relax and unwind by enjoying the various amenities like the pool, gym, restaurant and all the other exciting stores available at the Mall.

Day 7 - Morning pick-up from the hotel for the KENYA NATIONAL MUSEUM for an informative educational tour on Kenya's history ranging from the earliest known fossil remains of mankind's ancestors that predate discovery by more than 1.5 million years to the history of Kenyan tribes to the wildlife found in Kenya as well as the regions they are most likely to be found.

Day 8 - Morning pickup from the Hotel for JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT for the trip back home.
